Says Future Cougar.. and the rest of the day

to the attractive young male student leaving the LRC at "quadC" in Frisco the other night, thank you for the glance and smile. Yep, FC knows this is so superficial and vain, but hormones rule and the nuance of attraction couldn't have come at a better time.

In a world lit class this morning, the prof seemed disappointed in the grades from last week's essay test. She said only two students had received an A, the rest were mostly C's and some D's. Uh oh. She proceeded to give a detailed explanation of her "holistic" grading system and I was sweating it. My mind kept saying, "stupid, stupid, stupid..." I was sure that my analysis was shallow and vapid, remembering a few ideas I had written just to fill the page.... And then she handed back the tests and I had an A. Oh, sorry, self.

I have been unintentionally losing some weight. Stress, restless (flickering switchboard again) and lack of sleep does this to me. My stomach growls but I have no appetite. I completed a nutrition assignment this month in which I tracked my food intake for one week on mypyramidtracker.gov. The expected result is that the report will show that we typical Americans are over-fed and under-nourished, but my statistics indicate both under-fed and under-nourished. Well, flip. It's a good day if I drink enough water, take the multivitamin, the zinc, the calcium and the dose of C and manage to eat at least one full meal at one time with one vegetable. Intention not synonymous with action, dah. And speaking of the the Zinc, it's still working.

Major obsessions of the summer have waned. Over Orangina. And likewise, over the all-in-my-head silly window I opened on 4/13/07, VML is not what I thought and blissfully, my affection for "it" just disappeared over Labor Day Weekend after a polite, slightly disaproving and most definitive email. The senitment says it all. Good stuff!

Really missing my Tuesday Yoga Stories from last year. Gosh I wish I hadn't deleted those. Also missing the class, a lot.

intro

hi. I have been happily blogging on myspace for about a year, but the more real people and even not-so-close friends I have added, the less I think I want to share all my writing with, even with the security of the preferred list. I love to write about my relationships, my family, people I don't like, people I do like and especially about my observations of pop culture and daily life in the suburbs.

I am quite the discloser, so enjoy!
